Advanced Chimneys is a company to go to for all your chimney issues internal or external. If you don't get your Fireplace, Woodstove, or Furnace serviced seasonally, you could be risking fires in your home.
CLEANINGS
Our cleaning procedure begins with two friendly associates greeting you at your front door. The flue will be assessed to decide on the severity of the build up and method necessary to clean it. The work area will be tarped and necessary tools to complete the job brought in. A ladder will be set up to gain top access for cleaning and inspection. Once the flue has been swept the creosote residue and ash will be vacuumed. The work area will be cleared, and the lead technician will provide the customer with a detailed report.
REPAIRS
Our company specializes in all masonry repairs: point-up, partial & complete rebuilds, and mold removal. Masonry takes on many elements year after year and sometimes require some TLC; with over 40 years of experience on our staff there is no job we can't accomplish.
Advanced Chimney repairs liners as well for Fireplaces, Woodstoves, and Furnaces. For a flue to be safe it must be a sealed unit from top to bottom (no cracks in the tiles or gaps between sections) to assure all fumes and flames stay contained.
DRYER VENTS
Our technicians disconnect the dryer from the vent and connect a high air pressured system to the vent and insert cleaning rods to clear and remove dryer lint that has accumulated. Not cleaning your dryer vent is not only a fire hazard, but can cause the dryer to heat to a higher temperature therefore making it work harder which can cause low efficiency.
GUTTERS
When gutters are clogged and temperatures drop below freezing, gutters can become heavy and pull away from the house. Debris will build up in the gutter channel and water will overflow onto the structure and foundation causing water penetration/ leak issues. We remove debris from the channels and downspout to assure water is carried away from the house to protect your roof, walls, foundation, and landscape.
INSPECTIONS
INSURANCE CLAIMS
There are 3 types of inspections provided by our licensed professionals:
1) Level 1 Inspection, which is a visual inspection from top to bottom of both the internal and external properties.
2) Level 2 Inspection, this is an electronic inspection performed with a video camera that captures images that level ! visual can not see. The camera turns 360 degrees while being guided through the flue.
3) Level 3 Inspection, this form of an inspection requires removing structures like drywall and masonry to view external damage and clearances that couldn't be viewed otherwise.
We handle all of your insurance claims including: chimney fires, lightning strikes, water damage, and other damages too.
After a thorough inspection, the results will be transferred to the homeowner (and their adjuster per request) to accelerate the claim process and have your chimney in safe working order quickly. The report usually contains pictures taken during the inspection with detailed notes explaining the damage and cause of it. Along with the damage report will be an estimate with necessary repairs needed.
RELINING
One of the most common things we discover when we inspect a chimney with clay lining is it has begun to deteriorate and crack from acidic deposits and simply weathering. When this happens it allows heat and byproducts to access the masonry, nearby combustibles, an your family's air supply. It's not only dangerous but can leave you with expensive repairs and higher utilities.
Our company relines these flues with stainless steel because of its durability and versatility. It's suitable for wood, pellet, and gas burning appliances. Stainless steel liners can be flexible or rigid and made custom to fit the size or shape of your flue size.
